2016 Welch Appalachian Social and Economic Justice Lecture Series

Dr. Mary Anglin

The 2016 Welch Appalachian Social and Economic Justice Lecture Series will present "Undaunted: Legacies of Health and Environmental Justice in Appalachia" by Dr. Mary Anglin on March 4th at 1:00 pm in the EKU Business and Technology Center Auditorium.


Dr. Mary Anglin is an Associate Professor in Anthropology at the University of Kentucky.   She earned a PhD from the New School for Social Research and has an M.P.H from University of California, Berkley.    Her research interests are in the area of medical anthropology, breast cancer/reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, cultural anthropology, gender, political economy in Appalachia and the USA.
