The 2017 Welch Appalachian Social and Economic Justice Lecture Series will present "Appalachian Dreams: Social Work's Grand Challenges in the Region for 2017-2027" by Dr. Jim Clark on April 13th at 1:00 pm in the EKU Business and Technology Center Auditorium.  This lecture will coincide with the Kentucky Association of Social Work Educators conference and Dr.

Annual Fall Dept Cookout (2017) with Interdisciplinary Programs

The EKU Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work Department, along with Interdisciplinary programs hosted a back-to-school picnic on Thursday August 25. The event was held behind the Keith Building under the magnificent oak tree facing the new Turner Gate.  About 200 student, staff and faculty attended the event.
